Brain wave analyses can provide a unique picture of a concussion.

Baseline Scan

Receiving a Baseline EEG Brain Scan allows one to capture an image of an individuals brain activity, and the importance of the Baseline Scan is to serve as a comparison tool when measuring the most current brain activity following a concussive incident.

Post Concussion Scans

Research shows brain wave analyses can provide a unique picture of a concussion that compliments standard assessments. Following a concussive impact incident, or if experiencing symptoms of a brain injury, Post-Concussion (PC) EEG Brain Scans can compare data of the most current brain activity against their original baseline scan, the most "normal" brain activity. Studies have found that the P300 voltage and physical reaction time correlate with symptomatic concussive events 100% of the time.

The EEG Brain Assessment Platform

This platform has been used in a four-year longitudinal study of 500 youth and NCAA athletes. The study found that the P300 voltage and physical reaction time correlate with symptomatic concussive events. Additionally, the P300 voltage often normalized to baseline after symptom resolution. Anonymized data was also collected from players that have suffered sub-acute concussive blows or were at risk for multiple concussion. Learn more.
